Description
Loch of Strathbeg is a nice place for birdwatching. You have the possibility of making beautiful observations. There are clean and quiet observatories. It is a little-known site but with the possibility in winters of seeing migratory birds like Pink-footed Goose. In spring the site is also rich in passerines, Δεντροσπουργίτης, Τσακρίλλι and (Ευρωπαϊκή) Νεροκοτσέλα. Loch of Strathbeg is a place to discover quietly.

Access
From A90 in the village of Crimond, take the turn beside Kirk, following the brown tourist sign to nature reserve. At the T-junction at the end of the road, turn left. After approximately 500 m, turn right at reserve entrance. Click on the P in the map to get directions. By bus: Nearest bus stop is in Crimond village. In the village, walk towards the church. Beside the church is a small road with a brown nature reserve sign. The walking route shown on the map is about 5 km.
