Description

Mains of Usan is a long standing area for finding migrants. The area has gardens, hedgerows, and woodland. Kara sinekkapan, Sarıkaşlı çıvgın, etc in autumn. Seawatching is good in right conditions: regular Atlantik Yelkovanı from late spring, auks, divers, etc, plus a chance of something special.

Access

Mains of Usan is located south of Montrose. Follow the road to farm at road end. Ample parking, no public transport. Press P on the map for directions. Wheelchair users can watch from car.
