Description
Malham Cove is a regular nest site for sokol sťahovavý, belorítka obyčajná, kuvik obyčajný, žltochvost hôrny and skaliarik sivý. RSPB volunteers with telescope in attendance. Malham Tarn is a National Nature Reserve and SSSI. There are breeding kalužiak červenonohý, trasochvost žltý, trasochvost horský, vodnár potočný, cibík chochlatý, kalužiačik malý and water voles. Possibility of kulík vrchovský in autumn and snehuľka severská in winter.

Access
Malham is a short way north of the A65 transpennine road from Lancaster to Skipton. There is no car parking at the Cove, park in Malham village and walk or cycle up. For Malham tarn, leave Malham northward on Cove road and turn right at crossroads.
