Description
Picturesque Marshfield is a small medieval market town, occupying an exposed position on the dip slope of the southern Cotswolds. The surrounding countryside is a bird friendly area. An extensive network of agricultural land and plenty of stone walls and some hedgerows. Among the birds you can encounter are Kornspurv, Tornirisk, Vaktel, Gulspurv and Glente.

Marshfield is located 10 miles north fo Bath and 14 miles east of Bristol. You can park in the village. Click on the P in the map to get directions. Bus: the 635 Bristol - Chippenham service operates to/from Marshfield from The Centre (Colston Street) every two hours Mondays to Saturdays. The journey takes about 1 hour. The circular route indicated on the map is about 8,5 km long.
