Description

Small lakes, mature hedges and close to farmland. Easy site to see Little Grebe and Common Kingfisher. Water Rail is often heard. Many other common species of water- and songbird can be found here too. Often has Osprey on passage. Common Buzzard and Red Kite are regular.

Access from Melton Mowbray, off Scalford Road, onto Wymondham Way, through a housing estate to the visitor centre. Car Parking, Toilets, Cafe.
