Description

An aestethic pond, moss covered bridges, historic buildings and markers. That's all before the birds are taken into consideration. With a wide variety of sea birds available the entire coastal park is an amazing route, but this pond is amazing. There's even a little hide someone has built around the back.

Access

There are several car parks around the coastal park however to reach the pond, park at leasowe lighthouse and follow the bridleway towards hoylake. The pond is on the left. To reach the hide on the opposite bank, take the left through the trees just before you reach the pond. Be warned, it can get muddy.
