From September to November, and in April/May Painswick hill is good for seeing migrants, especially early morning. Hundreds of holub hrivnák, kulík zlatý, pinka obyčajná, škorec obyčajný, drozd čvíkota, drozd červenkavý and sojka obyčajná can pass through. Also pinka severská (ikavec), stehlík čížik, glezg obyčajný, strnádka obyčajná, sokol lastovičiar, sokol sťahovavý, sokol kobec, drozd kolohrivec, haja červená, jastrab krahulec and kaňa sivá possible.
