Description

Poor’s Allotment is an ancient heathland with approximately half a square mile of heath, scrub grassland , ponds and woodland. Natravn at dusk in summer, Enkeltbekkasin elusive and well camouflaged, in wetter grassland areas on lower slopes in winter. A Rødtoppet Fuglekonge wintered here in January 2022. Also slow worms, adders and hundreds of heath spotted orchids. Easy parking.
