Beschreibung
Located on the moorland fringe just 5 miles west of Sheffield, over 200 species have been recorded at this site, which is largely due to the wide range of habitats in a relatively small area. This includes wildfowl, raptors, waders and gulls, as well as thousands of visible migrants during the autumn. Nearly 80 species have also been confirmed to breed in the immediate vicinity, including up to ten species of wader and local specialities such as Merlin, Ziegenmelker, Schwarzkehlchen, Sommergoldhähnchen and Fichtenkreuzschnabel.

Zugang
Take the A57 out of Sheffield before taking a left turn at Crosspool. Continue on this road for a couple of miles before you reach the Middle and Top Reservoirs. There is a path around the reservoirs and a path to the north of the Top Reservoir takes you amongst the upland pasture and moorland. The route that is shown on the map is about 4 km.
