Description
Rowney Wood is a large ancient wood that was planted up with conifers in the 1950s but has now mostly been returned to native deciduous woodland. A few interesting birds seen include Agerhøne, Rød Glente, Ravn, Natugle, Slørugle, Sumpmejse, Spætmejse, Rødhøne, Gulspurv and Fuglekonge. It does not get too busy with people walking around so good chance to see birds and other wildlife.
