Description
The flooded former gravel workings in the Kennet valley running over four miles from south west Reading to Sulhampstead attracts birds all year round. Among the birds you can encounter are Crnokapa Grmuša, Grmuša čevrljinka, Siva Grmuša, Svilorepa, Sokol Lastavičar and Slavuj. There is a substantial population of Winter ducks, mostly dabbling, including hundreds of Krunata Patka, Patka Kreketaljka and Zviždara and the odd Patka Batoglavica.
