Description

Best vantage points are Ronach, Rhunahaorine Point and Tayinloan on the mainland, the ferry boat to Gigha, and the northern tip of Gigha. Wintering sea birds include Синьга and Турпан, Крех середній, Пірникоза червоношия, Гагара полярна, Гагара червоношия, Гагара чорношия, Пухівка зеленошия, Гоголь зеленоголовий and four auk species.

Access

By road or bus from Glasgow, 120 miles. Regular ferry from Tayinloan to Gigha island. The ferry journey takes 20 minutes.
