Description
Spey Bay is situated on the mouth of the River Spey on the coast of the Moray Firth. Ποταμογλάρονο and Χιονογλάρονο breed in summer. Autumn sees large passage of waders, dispersing seabirds such as Atlantic Puffin, Common Guillemot, Razorbill, (Ευρωπαϊκός) Θαλασσοκόρακας, Τριδάκτυλος Γλάρος and Σούλα (του Βορά). In winter and early spring the bay is a sheltered spot for large numbers of sea ducks and divers, also Ισλανδόγλαρος and Glaucous Gull possible.

Access
Site is 8 miles east of Nairn, north of the A96 road. Car parking either side of the estuary, in Kingston or Spey Bay village. Click on a P in the map to get directions to that point.
