Description
The headland and peninsula of St David's Head attract early and late migrants, lost and wayward birds. Southerly winds during early spring, deliver the first Stenpikker and Digesvale, and Splitterne stop briefly to feed in nearby Whitesands Bay. Later, when migration is fully underway, vast numbers of hirundines journey past on their northerly course.
