Description
The Meadows is a recreation ground sandwiched between the River Tavy in the South and the Tavistock Canal on it's Nothern edge. Whilst most birds are of commoner species, Vodenkos, Potočna pliska and Barska kokica and Gluvara can often be found on both river or canal. During harsh Winters especially with freezing conditions on nearby Dartmoor Livadska trepteljka and even Mišar sometimes seek shelter near the park, both Mali drozd and Drozd borovnjak are annual winter visitors depending on temperature. During Summer the odd Žuta pliska turns up occasionally.
