Description

Floridsdorfer Wasserpark is a park that is occupied by a third of water. Very close to the Danube and the old arm of the Danube. There is one island on which Grey Heron are breeding every year. But also all kinds of other waterfowls can be seen here. Especially during the cold half of the year. Among the birds you can see here are Mallard, Tufted Duck, Common Pochard, Mute Swan, Eurasian Moorhen, Eurasian Coot, Black-headed Gull and others such as Paridae, Corvidae, Picidae.

The closest metro station is "Neue Donau" south of the "Wasserpark". but the area is also accessible by car.
