45-hectare pond that is a resting place for migratory birds but also holds many breeding birds.
Rudmannser Teich is a bird-rich carp pond. In recent years, more than 230 bird species have been identified here, including 30 different wading birds. About 90 species breed at the Rudmannser Teich and in the adjacent forest. Among the birds you can encounter are Common Tern, Sedge Warbler, Reed Bunting, Garganey, Grey Heron, Western Marsh Harrier, Wood Sandpiper and Common Sandpiper.
On the north side of the pond is a parking place and a bird hide. Click on the P in the map to get directions. You can make a 3 km circular walk around the lake.
