Description

Bois de Silly is a beech and oak forest with carpets of spring flowers. It is an ideal birding area for woodpeckers. You can see five different species: Middle Spotted Woodpecker, Black Woodpecker, Eurasian Green Woodpecker, Great Spotted Woodpecker and Lesser Spotted Woodpecker. But also good for other forest birds like European Honey-buzzard, Eurasian Nuthatch, Tawny Owl and Short-toed Treecreeper.

Access

Park on the street Chemin Royal. Click on the P in the map to get directions. The walking route suggested on the map is 3 km long, but can easily be extended by walking some connecting trails.
