Description

De Inslag is a forest that is divided into 2 parts by a pedestrian lane. Here you can see many forest birds and thanks to the Antitankgracht you have a good chance of Common Kingfisher and herons. The forest is very popular with the various woodpeckers such as Middle Spotted Woodpecker, Great Spotted Woodpecker and Black Woodpecker, but also very ideal for Eurasian Nuthatch and Short-toed Treecreeper. The birds are certainly used to the visitors and not shy. Best to visit early in the morning when you are more likely to see deer as well.
