Nature reserve ‘Mariahof - De Luysen’ is a 40 ha pond area,  ‘St-Maartensheide’ is an open landscape with scattered trees and bushes.

Description

The pond area is a paradise for birds. There are three birdwatching hides. The Abeek is a beautiful stream valley. It is an area with forests, swamps and meadows. A lot of special animals and plants are present here.  In ‘St-Maartensheide’, you can spot rare birds.
