Description

De Teut is a nature reserve and heathland of about 600 hectares of dry, moist and wet heath with fens and forests. The Teutheuvel is a hill that towers above the surrounding landscape. The area consists of an alternation of fens, dunes, forests and various types of heath. Birds you can see in the area are European Stonechat, Eurasian Nightjar, European Honey-buzzard, Eurasian Hobby, Eurasian Goshawk, Wood Lark, Eurasian Skylark, Tree Pipit, Coal Tit and Crested Tit.

Nederlands: De Teut is een natuurgebied en heidelandschap van ongeveer 600 hectare droge, vochtige en natte heide met vennen en bossen.. De Teutheuvel steekt boven het omringende landschap uit. Het gebied bestaat uit een afwisseling van vennen, duinen, bossen en verschillende soorten heide. Vogels die je in het gebied kunt zien zijn European Stonechat, Eurasian Nightjar, European Honey-buzzard, Eurasian Hobby, Eurasian Goshawk, Wood Lark, Eurasian Skylark, Tree Pipit, Coal Tit en Crested Tit.
