Description

The mosaic of landscape types makes Groot Molsbroek a great place to watch a lot of different bird species. Among the birds you can see here are Common Shelduck, Northern Shoveler, Common Teal, Black-headed Gull, Little Bittern, Grey Heron, Little Egret, Great Spotted Woodpecker, European Goldfinch, Bluethroat, Sedge Warbler, Common Kingfisher, Great Crested Grebe, Black-necked Grebe, Common Pochard, Eurasian Curlew, Great Bittern, Common Snipe, Water Rail, Eurasian Green Woodpecker and Cetti's Warbler.

Access

You can discover the area by foot or bike, after parking your car at different spots. At the Molsbergenstraat you find the visitor center where you can get a map of the area. There are parking spots in Molbergenstraat and Hamstraat 1. Click on a P in the map for directions. The circular walking route on the map is about 8 km.
