Description

The Ronde Put is one of the few untouched nature reserves in the Kempen region and is of great ornithological and botanical importance. The lake and the surrounding marshes and reed beds are located in the middle of an old cultural landscape with forests and small-scale agricultural plots, mainly consisting of pasture land. So you can see a mix of water birds, reed birds and forest birds like Reed Warbler, Bluethroat, Northern Lapwing, European Stonechat, Common Cuckoo, Black Woodpecker, Wood Lark, Tufted Duck and Great Crested Grebe.
