Description

Schijnvallei De Pont houses a wealth of biodiversity in a small area. You will find a pond with open water, a piece of reed land, hay meadow, forest and a large piece of semi-open landscape with grazing cattle Among the birds you can encounter are European Honey-buzzard, Eurasian Goshawk, Eurasian Nuthatch, Short-toed Treecreeper, Hawfinch, Lesser Spotted Woodpecker, Middle Spotted Woodpecker, Black Woodpecker. Eurasian Hobby and Common Kingfisher.

Nederlands: De Schijnvallei kent een aantal interessante groengebieden, waarvan sommige in beheer zijn van Natuurpunt. De Pont herbergt op een kleine oppervlakte, een schat aan biodiversiteit. Je vindt er een vijver met open water, een stuk rietland, hooiweide, bos en een groot stuk half open landschap met begrazing. Vogels die je hier kunt tegenkomen zijn European Honey-buzzard, Eurasian Goshawk, Eurasian Nuthatch, Short-toed Treecreeper, Hawfinch, Lesser Spotted Woodpecker, Middle Spotted Woodpecker, Black Woodpecker.
