Description
Gradski Park Bihać is located along the fast flowing mountain river Una. In the winter there are hundreds of ducks, mainly Mallard. Some other duck species can be seen like Gadwall, Northern Pintail and Common Teal. In the trees there are common birds like Great Tit, Eurasian Blue Tit and Great Spotted Woodpecker. In spring other birds can be seen in nearby trees at the park migrating back to the mountains above. Also at the park in spring you can see Blackcap, Chaffinch and some other species. During the breeding season, outside the city you can see White-throated Dipper and Goosander who nest nearby. Also other species like White Stork, Grey Heron and Common Buzzard.
