One of the last wild beaches (2,5 km long) in Bulgaria next to a coastal marsh with water vegetation. Good combination of habitats, which can produce interesting sea, marsh and terrestrial birds in all seasons. One of the best places to observe Yelkouan Shearwater, Tawny Pipit, Lesser Spotted Eagle and Pygmy Cormorant at the same time. In winter time Little Bittern, Black-throated Diver (Arctic Loon), Slavonian Grebe (Horned Grebe) and other can be observed.
Folowing Road 99, take the road on the southern side of Sozopol and then continue along the coastline towards Dyuni Resort. After passing the resort, you will be at the northern part of Alepu. There are plenty of places to park the car near the road depending which part of the area you are willing to explore.
