Description

Elenite holiday village is situated in a quiet bay with a large beach on the southern slope of the easternmost Balkan Mountain range. Directly behind the resort the wooded hills start. Migrating birds like European Bee-eater and White Stork can be seen in August. More seldom Eurasian Hoopoe, European Roller and Black Woodpecker. Breeding birds in the area are Golden Oriole, Cirl Bunting, Eurasian Green Woodpecker, Common Nightingale, European Turtle Dove, Sombre Tit, Red-backed Shrike, Woodchat Shrike,Syrian Woodpecker, Alpine Swift and Yellow-legged Gull.
