Description

Large coastal lake, partly used as salinas. Provides excellent conditions for breeding of Avocet, Kentish Plover, Eurasian Oystercatcher, Sandwich Tern and other. One of the easiest places to see Gull-billed Tern, Slender-billed Gull, Broad-billed Sandpiper and other specialities.

Access

Stop near the Police check-point (not in use) at the place where the road from Pomorie toward North reaches the Road E87, park the car there and walk towards East till you will reach the bank of the lake.
