Description

Very specific open mountain habitat of gentle hills and depressions ('ponors'), with limestone cliffs, providing nesting places for Golden Eagle, Peregrine Falcon, Long-legged Buzzard, Common Raven and other. With some luck Eagle Owl and Yellow-billed Chough can be seen, too. Wet meadows are inhabited by Corn Crake, Common Quail and other. In the woodlands Yellowhammer, Tree Pipit and other forest birds are possible.

Access

From Bov Village leave the Road 16 towards villages of Zasele, where you can park the car and explore the area. Follow afterwards the same road to Zimevitsa Village, where you can leave the car and explore the area to the West of the village following the unpaved road.
