Mirador Loma el Mogote

The walk leads into the Reserva de la Biosfera Sierra del Rosario, in the east of Soroa. The path splits after about 500m, to the mirador or to the river.

Description

Mirador Loma el Mogote is located in a very beautiful forest. You can see all native Cuban pigeons and doves and quail-doves (except Plain pigeon) in one day.

Access

The path starts on the eastern end of the bridge directly at the road in the middle of Soroa. The entrance fee is 50 CUP per person. The walk is open 24hours and you may also pay on return.

At the peak of Loma el Mogote you have a really nice view and can even see the south coast of Cuba. The path to the river is really beautiful hike through the natural forest of Cuba.
