Description

Beautiful mountainous area between the villages of Agia Varvara westward to the village of Anarita. Great for raptors, warblers and wheatear's, especially during spring migration. Note that out of migration season it may not hold much birds at all. Among the birds you can encounter are Cyprus Warbler, Eastern Orphean Warbler, Subalpine Warbler, Sardinian Warbler, Rüppell's Warbler, Corn Bunting, Great Spotted Cuckoo, Stone-curlew, Bonelli's Eagle, Long-legged Buzzard, Little Owl, European Roller, Finsch's Wheatear, Black-eared Wheatear, Cyprus Wheatear, Isabelline Wheatear, Northern Wheatear and Lesser Kestrel.
