Åløkkeskoven is a city park that continues to Odense harbor. It has mostly wooded parts, but also some open fields where sheep graze. There is a little playground where you can have some food with you and eat it around beautiful surroundings! In rainy weather you should take some good shoes on because it can get slippery in some parts. Among the birds you can see are Eurasian Jay, Marsh Tit, Eurasian Nuthatch, Chaffinch, Brambling, Bullfinch, Great Spotted Woodpecker and Long-tailed Tit.

Easy to reach from Odense city center. Walking and cycling is the absolute best way because you can't enter the forest with car. Some of the roads is possible with wheelchair but can be difficult.
