Description

Augustenborg Skov is an old forest. The alley of Linden trees is from the 1700s. The vegetation is varied with many old trees and dead wood, which provides good living conditions for cavity nesters. Due to its location along the seacoast waterfowl can also be observed. Among the birds you can encounter are Rock Pipit, Red-breasted Merganser, Goosander, Common Eider, Common Goldeneye, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Eurasian Nuthatch and Tawny Owl.
