Description

The extensive forestry that has been practiced in the area of Bolderslev og Uge Skove, supports a species-rich and very varied forest. There are approximately. 300 different species of trees and herbs in the area, several of which are rare in Denmark. Among the birds you can encounter are 5 species of woodpecker: Black Woodpecker, Eurasian Green Woodpecker, Lesser Spotted Woodpecker, Middle Spotted Woodpecker and Great Spotted Woodpecker.
