Description

North of the village of Give you will find the woodland of Hastrup Plantage, which offers good hiking routes. In the western part of the woodland you can find the Galtkær wetland. At the edge of the plantation a bird observation tower is available from which you have a good view of Galtkær. In the spring Red-necked Grebe, Northern Shoveler, Common Teal and Little Ringed Plover breed here and many other birds make a stop here.
