Description

The lake of Hindemade Sø has several small islands for ground nesting birds and the area is a gorgeous spot for waders and meadow birds. Little Ringed Plover, Common Kingfisher and Avocet are seen and birds of prey regularly sweep the area. For example White-tailed Eagle that nest further east near Haderslev Fjord are often seen over Hindemade. Red Kite is also often seen at Hindemade.
