The inaccessible island of Katholm can bee seen from the shore. It's not a long walk but the island draws a lot of nesting gulls and the shallow waters attracts some shorebirds as well. Among the birds you can see are Lesser Black-backed Gull, Great Black-backed Gull, Common Gull, Black-headed Gull, Common Eider, Common Goldeneye, Dunlin, Common Redshank and Eurasian Oystercatcher.

There is a parking lot at the end of Katholmvej. Click on the P in the map to get directions.
