An old moving dune that was stopped by plantation. These days it's a heath surrounded by dark pine forest.
Kværs Heath is an old wandering dune which has been stopped with the planting of trees. The area is a mix of trees, open spaces with heath and ponds. There is a chance to spot the increasingly rare Willow Tit. Among the other birds you can encounter are Red-backed Shrike, Great Grey Shrike, Eurasian Green Woodpecker, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Black Woodpecker, Crested Tit, Eurasian Treecreeper and Goldcrest. The area has also been visited by Wood Lark, Hoopoe and Nutcracker.
