Description

Sortemosen is an area of wet meadows and marsh. A good roosting place for waterbirds in winter and spring. Roosting White-tailed Eagle most of the year. Breeding place for Common Crane, Greylag Goose as well as more common species.

Access

The area is private property with restricted access. Best observation point is the birding tower situated south of the farm "Vesterlund". Drive for Sortemosevej 23, DK 5892 Gudbjerg Sydfyn. Park the car / bikes at the smal parking area by the green barn, and follow the path 400 meters to the tower. Click on the P in the map to get directions.
