Description

Stensbæk Hede is an area of inland dunes with large heath areas and shifting sands. Brilliant vistas in a 770 ha landscape that is shaped by wind and erosion. Among the birds you can encounter here are European Turtle Dove, Common Cuckoo, Eurasian Nightjar, Hen Harrier, Red-backed Shrike, Great Grey Shrike, Wood Lark and European Stonechat.

The unique landscapes, unspoilt river meanders, extensive heaths and wetlands offer a wealth of experiences. The plantation of around 770 hectares is located on the heath, Gelså Hedeslette, between Ribe and Gram.
