The Hanstholm Vildtreservat is one of the nice parts of the Thy National Park, but difficult to visit. The area has breeding populations of European Golden Plover, Wood Sandpiper and Common Crane. This hike provides some opportunities to see the Vildtreservat, although it is still rather distant. Most of the walk goes through forests, where some forest species can be seen.
Click on the P in the map to get directions to the parking spot. During the breeding season the Vildtreservat is not accessible, and this walk provides one of the few possibilities to see it.
