Mangroovy Beach Bird Viewing Hut

The Mangrove Lagoon is best visited from November to Spring at high tide. It attracts a lot of shorebirds. The area is dry in the hot summer months.

Description

The small wooden hut on Mangroovy Beach offers protection from the sun and wind. Among the birds you can see here are Eurasian Curlew, Western Reef-Heron, Common Greenshank, Osprey, Common Ringed Plover, Common Redshank and Kentish Plover.

Either walk along the beach from Smokery Beach Bar or take a Tok Tok to the end of Mangroovy Residence.
