There's a nature trail around the Heikkilänmetsä forest and also two bird observation towers, where you can see to the Lake Vallonjärvi, which is a good place for waterfowl and many other wetland birds. Among the birds you can encounter are White-backed Woodpecker, Grey-headed Woodpecker, Eurasian Three-toed Woodpecker, Lesser Spotted Woodpecker, Black Woodpecker, Common Crane, Crested Tit, Coal Tit and Osprey.
