Description

The Vuosaari golf course attracts migrating birds in early spring and as soon as the snow starts to melt from the hill tops, the first Skylark start to arrive. Whooper Swan, Canada Goose, Greylag Goose and Barnacle Goose like to stop to rest and eat on the fields too. Sometimes one can spot birds like Reed Bunting, Snow Bunting and Lapland Longspur there too. Northern Goshawk is a year round sight flying a top the field and sometimes Eurasian Kestrel and Great Grey Shrike hunt in the area too.
