The Capbreton Casino Waterfront is an excellent seawatching spot during autumn migration. Especially during eastward incoming storms. Red Phalarope, Pomarine Skua, Arctic Skua (Parasitic Jaeger), Sabine's Gull, Great Shearwater, Sooty Shearwater, Balearic Shearwater, European Storm-Petrel, Leach's Storm-Petrel, Black Tern and Arctic Tern are the target species when strong westerlies blow individuals to the beach.
