Carrière de Fresville is a nice site for relaxed birdwatching. Among the birds you can encounter are Lesser Whitethroat, Long-eared Owl, Bullfinch, Goosander, Little Ringed Plover, Common Shelduck and Northern Shoveler. Also more rare birds like Black-throated Diver (Arctic Loon) and Caspian Gull have been observed.
