Description
This large pond is home to nice nesting species as Red-crested Pochard, Common Pochard, Tufted Duck, Gadwall, Sedge Warbler, Purple Heron. In the surrounding bocage, Red-backed Shrike, Wood Lark,Montagu's Harrier are also nesting.
In winter, the pond can be hosting Common Teal, Common Pochard, Tufted Duck, Eurasian Wigeon and several vagrants. The place is also really great in times of migration with lots of passerines in the hedgerows and waterfowl on the pond.

Cross the farm and park on the parking spot. You can then walk to the observatory or in the forest.
