The cliffs of the Gorges des Gats are home to many birds and especially interesting because of the three species of vulture that can be seen here.

Description

This viewpoint is located in front of the cliffs of the Gorges des Gats and one can observe Griffon Vulture and other vultures like Eurasian Black Vulture, or see Bearded Vulture. Depending on which direction you come from, the site with parking space, is either at the entrance or exit of the Gorges des Gats.

On the D539 road which connects 26410 Chatillon-en-Diois to 26620 Lus-la-Croix-Haute, parking space for the car at the side of the road. Click on the P in the map to get directions.
