Description

The Grand Etang de Pontoux houses an important nesting colony of Black-crowned Night Heron as well as Purple Heron, Little Egret, Western Marsh Harrier and Great Reed Warbler. The pond is also an interesting site to look for migratory birds (ducks and shorebirds).

L'étang abrite une importante colonie nicheuse de Black-crowned Night Heron ainsi que Purple Heron Little Egret Western Marsh Harrier Great Reed Warbler ... C'est aussi un site intéressant pour les haltes migratoires (canards et limicoles)
