Description
The Coulée Verte (The Green Belt) runs along a stream, wet meadows a lake and reedbeds. Along the way it is easy to observe Northern Lapwing, Grey Heron, Great Egret, Little Egret, Cattle Egret, Common Buzzard, Eurasian Moorhen, Eurasian Coot, Black-crowned Night Heron. In winter, it is also possible to observe pairs of Mute Swan. In the area it is also possible to observe Purple Heron, Sacred Ibis, Glossy Ibis, Spoonbill, Marsh Harrier, Black Kite.

You can explore the trail by bike or on foot. The green belt trail goes from La Chevrolière to Passay, leading directly to a panorama of the lake Lac de Grand-Lieu. NOTE: In winter, one of the areas of the green corridor is extremely muddy.
